Dirty Electricity Filters (GS) filters



The term dirty electricity is being used in different contexts:
Dirty Electricity is a newly recognized and ubiquitous pollutant. It refers to unusable electrical energy (radio frequencies), which produce harmonics and transients that flow along electrical power lines. Experts also call dirty electricity, electrical noise. Dirty electricity comes from inside the home as well as outside.
Class I Dirty Electricity results from electrical interference caused by the dramatic increase of electronics, dimmer switches, computers and efficiency lighting inside. Power conversion from AC to DC within these devices distort the smooth 60 hertz wave, creating kilohertz level signals, causing a saw-tooth wave with electrical spikes that typically range from 1kilohertz to 500 KHz (thousands of cycles/ second).
Class II Dirty Electricity: Radio waves and microwaves from outside the home are reradiated through the 'antenna' effect of electrical power lines. This Class II dirty electricity results in unhealthy spikes and surges near the walls in the AM/FM radio range from 550 KHz to 100 MHz (millions of cycles/ second).

Some refer to electricity produced in nuclear power plants as 'dirty electricity', thinking of the radioactive and poisonous waste produced while generating electricity in this way.
Some refer to electricity produced by burning coal as 'dirty electricty', bearing in mind the smog caused in the process (especially when the filter technology involved does not meet modern standards).
Some refer to electricity produced by burning any fossile fuels (coal, oil, gas) as 'dirty electricity', thinking of the greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide) set free in this process that at present are causing global warming and climate change.

Electrical pollution refers to low frequency electromagnetic waves that have unwanted effects, such as badly shielded electric cables that induce disturbances in electrical devices nearby.
